Santa!

On Monday, December 22nd, we waited (actually scurried around making sure everything was ready) for a special guest to arrive at Mums' house.

Lane was the photography assistant in charge of getting Evin to look and smile.  I think he needs a raise!

Her reaction to Santa walking through the door.  She wasn't exactly thrilled, but not scared at this point, either.

Lane also had a funny reaction to start with; I think he was a little overwhelmed and surprised by it all!  He gave him a quick little high five (without looking at him) and ran away.

Ellis thought the whole thing was a bit strange!

Lane quickly warmed up and LOVED him.  It was so sweet to watch his excitement.

We thought we could try for a family picture first, to warm Evin up.  Again, she looks pretty excited.

A little reminder of last year's Santa pic.  Good one!

Add in another baby, and this year's picture isn't too much different!

Poor girl! 

We did give her a break in between these screaming fits...ha!

 

Just not a fan.  Here's to hoping for a smiling Santa experience next year!

She didn't take her eyes off of him, even as he was leaving.

 

Ellis on the other hand, didn't seem to mind him after awhile.  She also didn't mind being held by Uncle Mitch.

I can't wait to see if we have another screaming picture, or a smiling picture next year!
