Week in Photos- 1 year 13 weeks

{Week of June 18th-24th}
This is a LONG post.  Be prepared. :)

Ready to tackle the day in her denim romper, jelly sandals, and pigtails!

First up, a trip to Marshall's with Mommy.

This face just kills me.

At Marshall's we picked out a couple of books, so Daddy had to have story time with E when he got home.

 She was pretty excited!

She adores her cousin, Ellis, and is very sweet and mostly gentle with her.  She lays her head on her to give her "hugs" and loves to touch her.  I do have to be close by to make sure she is gentle!  Ellis doesn't look all that thrilled about this encounter with her big cousin...

Sweet sleeping girl kept moving her hand to where it was resting on mine. :)

Sweet girls!

Look at how Ellis is working the camera- so cute!

Someone became a fan of Ritz crackers and shoveled in quite a few of them during snack time...

I love this picture of Evin with her GiGi!

It doesn't get any cuter than this.

The Snowdens drove in for a visit and we packed a ton of activities in their short stay.  I took a ton of pictures and they didn't all upload in order, so some of them are a bit mixed up.

All the kids had fun swimming in Mums' pool.  Mason might have had the most fun!

My man and my girl.

The Snowden's pup, Abby, made her first visit to Mansfield.  So, so cute!  She looks almost just like Hannah, the black & tan dachshund I had growing up.

Ellis enjoyed being passed around.

She thought she was such a big girl having Mason walk her around.

This skinny little squirt is 8 years old and can still fit in a bumbo!

Friday morning we got up and took the crew to Hawaiian falls.

It was Evin's first time and she really liked it!  I'm sure we will make at least one more visit later this summer so Mitch can come.

 These 2 look like twins!

Kyla has a lifeproof case for her iPhone, so she wasn't afraid to bring her phone in the water to snap some pictures.  I am so glad she did, because she got some good ones!
This picture just screams "summertime" to me!

She loved going down the slides.

And this daredevil loved going down the big kid slides!

 Tiny piggies are the best.

We made a trip to Coldstone one night and Evin mooched bites off of several people.

Swimming in Mums' pool again.  Look at the weird sunburn on my back.  Obviously, sunscreen was applied much better in some areas than in others.  Whoops!

Buddies.

Evin has designated herself the official dog-treat-giver.  She wants me to open the pantry all the time so she can drag the treats out and give them to the dogs.

Mia seems to enjoy this new routine.

The girls posing before heading out.

Paisley has grown a ton since we saw her last!  One thing that hasn't changed is her feisty little personality.  She's a handful, but she makes up for it with her cute and funny personality.

On Saturday we took the kiddos to  Pawnee Bill's Wild West Show in the Stockyards.  Lane is really into cowboys, Marley loves horses, and we thought all the kids would like seeing the riding and roping tricks.
I can't help but laugh every time I look at Ellis in this picture.  CHEEKS!

"Hey Evin, look at the tricks I can do with my hat."

Tiffany took this picture while we were there and I LOVE it!  I do love when Evin does her cheesy smile, but I also love seeing her natural smile.

This bubble is one of my favorite things she has ever worn.  Who wouldn't love this little ruffly rear?!

Gearing up for a wild show.
Evin has been making her horse noise lately when we ask her what a horse says.  In the middle of the National Anthem she thought it would be a great time to practice her horse sound.  Aye, aye, aye.

She liked seeing the horses and cows, but she was NOT a fan of the whips or the gunshots.  She had a few meltdowns and when I heard that there was about to be a gun show, we took a little intermission to save some tears.

Lately, for comfort she will suck on her paci and grab the giraffe's leg and rub her eye with it.  Hopefully when we take the paci away, the giraffe by itself will be comfort enough.

After the show you were allowed to go down and pet the horses and meet the performers.  The kids were all excited to go down, but then got timid once they got down there.  Marley worked up the courage to pat one of the horses.

Mason did too.  This lady was the one that did trick riding.

You can't go to the Stockyards without posing on a longhorn.
The Snowden kiddos:

Then, Lane's turn.  He was scared because it was up too high.  Silly boy!

The big kids all did pony rides.  Evin was content in her stroller during all this, so I just left her there.  Next time she will have to have a pony ride!

Looking so studly in is boots & hat.

After the Stockyards, we headed over for an early dinner at Joe T. Garcia's.  YUM!
It was Ellis' first time there, so we had to snap a pic.

We always have a ton of fun when the Snowdens visit, and this time was no exception!

Later that week...

One of her favorite places to hang out- the doggie door.

I bought Evin some mini-popsicles for a summertime treat.  They are the perfect size for her!

She loved playing in the bed of Daddy's truck

Dancing to some "Hot Diggity Dog" on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

One of her new favorite things to do is go in the kitchen, get the mixing bowls out of the cabinet, and stack & unstack them.

It keeps her busy for awhile, so I am on board with this activity!

Mitch's parents are building a new house and  I am so, so excited for them!
They took us out to see the model homes before they signed the contract.  We ended up being there for quite a while as they signed paperwork, so we kept Evin busy (more like Evin kept us busy) with snacks and by walking her all over the houses.

Nosy Nellie checking out the drawers in the model home.

Taking pictures while we waited.  See the tile/flooring samples behind us?  That's my favorite part!  While we were there, I went through and picked out what I would put in my dream home. :)

This is the floorplan they decided on.  It is beautiful!

Silly girl shreds toilet paper instead of just pulling it off the roll.  Doesn't she look proud of herself?
About .2 seconds before I took this picture she was screaming because I made her stop shredding it.

She finally decided she likes her tunnel!
