Gaylord ICE

Shortly after Christmas, GiGi and PawPaw treated us to an afternoon at the Gaylord Texan to explore and go through the ICE! exhibit.

The Gaylord is always pretty, but it is especially pretty with their Christmas decorations up.

I loved these big ornament trees!  And I love the two in front of it, too. :)

The theme this year for ICE! was Frosty the Snowman.

I took this picture to show exactly how many people were in there at the same time that we were.  It was PACKED.

We managed to break free from the crowd and move around a little more freely.  Evin was intrigued by the ice kids!

BRRRR!

All aboard!

On the way out, we spotted a sign for GiGi's Cupcakes.  Perfect!

We stopped for a treat of cupcakes and hot chocolate, and Evin spotted Frosty!  We went over to say "hi" and she wasn't so excited anymore.  She definitely prefers to observe characters from a distance.  See her giving him the stink eye?

Hubby & Wife

Can you tell she likes to lead the way?  Ha!

A wee bit distracted by Bevo who was behind the fence next to us.

Checkin' out the trains exhibit one last time before leaving.

Thanks for a fun afternoon, GiGi & PawPaw!
