For
the second year in a row, we participated in the Congenital Heart Walk
in Round Rock, Texas. This year, it was on March 7th and it was much
chillier than it was last year. We bundled up and headed to Old
Settler's Park.
Evin put her hands together after the National Anthem was performed.
We
are so, so proud of this little girl of ours. I look forward to to the
day when Evin is able to understand that we walk for her and for all
the other babies/kids who have fought or are fighting for their lives. I
hope she is as proud of her special heart as we are.
This years group!
We missed the Coots (in Chicago) and the Snowdens this year. Hopefully they can make it again next year!
Evin picked out a heart tattoo for us to put on her.
Ta-da!

I think Evin and Mitch look so much alike in this picture.
After the walk, we played on the little playground for a bit.
He's such a sweet Daddy to her.
Her fake "cheese" face. Ha!
I
am so thankful that we make time to attend this walk to raise money and
spread awareness for this cause. I am also thankful to the family
members who join us to support Evin. She is one very loved little girl!
