Well,
it's June and I am on summer break, which means it is time to catch up
on the blog! Trying to remember details back to February will be a
challenge, but I will certainly try.
February means it is time to bust out the red and the hearts. <3
ATTITUDE.
Kyla found these cute baseball tees at American Apparel and used some type of iron on to make this heart tee for Evin. We loved it!
Snacks, snacks, snacks for Evin.
She still lets me snuggle her before I put her in her bed for naps and bedtime.
We welcomed the warmer weather before the cold blew in again. Too much inside time makes her a little crazy!
We celebrated GiGi's birthday at Mercado Juarez with family. GiGi had a cute helper to assist in opening presents.
E with Tai, Trinity, and Tori, Mitch's cousins' kiddos. She adores older kids!
Her piggies make the most perfect little sprigs. I love them!
Every trip to Target includes a stop to visit the dog.
My
mom's friend, Pat, lives on the golf course and there is a little pond
right behind their house. They have ducks that live there, so Evin went
to visit.
They are all about the food, so they let her get pretty close!
We
had a dinner date with Courtney. Evin is always slow to warm up, but
she does let her hold her every time. I am pretty sure it's because Courtney spoils her rotten. ;)
Mums took Evin to Walmart one day and Evin couldn't leave without this balloon. She LOVED it!
Valentine cookie baking with Mums.
Checking out one of her valentines.
Taking Ava, Alex & Elizabeth's dog, for a walk while at GiGi & PawPaw's.
Opening presents from GiGi & PawPaw.
I love watching her get excited.
Happy Valentine's Day!
One of her gifts from Mums was some little red Toms shoes.
She put them on right away and wouldn't take them off!
She
gets so many gifts from everyone else, Mitch and I really shouldn't get
her anything. We tried to keep it tame with a couple of small things.
This piggy shirt was her favorite gift from us. Who wouldn't love a glittery pig wearing a crown and bowtie?! :)
At
the end of February we had some COLD weather move in. The weather
forecasters had predicted a little bit of snow on a Friday morning, and
it came in much faster and heavier than they had expected. This is a
picture out of my window at school after it had been falling for about
an hour. The district ended up calling for early dismissal due to
weather, and we scrambled to get kids home as quickly as possible. It
was a crazy day!
After chaos at school, I made it home to take this one out for her first real snow. She was a bit skeptical at first...
...and then once she tried to walk around she DESPISED it.
Although she didn't love snow, she did love snow day snacks. We made snow cream and which she enjoyed making and eating.
We
also made popcorn and added in some chocolate chips and marshmallows
while it was still hot, so it made a gooey, delicious mess.
You can tell she didn't like it at all. ;)
Several days later she came down with a bad virus. Poor girl was throwing up and did NOT feel well. It was so sad to watch.
Kyla
and the kids came in this month, and my mom, Evin and I went to pick
them up at the airport. E entertained herself with stickers while we
waited for their plan to land.
Can you feel their excitement?! This girl sure loves her cousins.
Little stinker.
Sweetly taking care of her baby. I believe this one is Debbie. She named her babies Marsha, Debbie & Abby- haha!
Feeding Marsha breakfast.
I got a new camera this month and had fun playing around with it. Bubbles in the bath made for some fun picture taking!
Mitch captured this moment while I was at work.
Little girl ADORES Beckham and, normally, he doesn't care a thing about
her unless she has food. The house must have been chilly for him to
climb up in her lap!
Fun at Little Gym!
