Week in Photos- 40 weeks old

This was a very busy week!  At 40 weeks old, Evin celebrated Christmas, went to Graham & San Angelo, had her 9 month well check, and cheered on the Aggies on New Year's Eve.

Some of these pictures are repeats, but I wanted to include them to get the full picture of her week.

Waking up on Christmas morning.

Sweet girl with some of her many presents that she received!

Ready to go to Graham.

We started using a sleep sack this week, and man, I wish we had started using them earlier!  They keep her nice and warm and I don't have to worry about her kicking a blanket off or getting it over her face.  Sleep sack for the win!

She loves this rocking giraffe.  She woke up this morning and immediately pointed at it when we brought her in the living room.  She had to have an early morning ride before taking her bottle!

Playing dress up in San Angelo.

I just die over how big she looks here!  Can I please keep her this size forever?

Silly girl.

Reading a good book with Mums.

Evin thinks Mason is one of the funniest people.  She loves to watch him and just grins when he looks at or talks to her.  He's so sweet to her!

Pretty pink ladies.

Mums gave Evin some new towels for Christmas since she was outgrowing her baby towels.  This is the cutest owl I've ever seen!

Nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby.

Evin was so impressed by the fact that she could pick up this ball one-handed.  I kind of was too.

She thinks she's so big when we go eat and she sits and eats off the table.  Surprisingly, she's actually pretty good about keeping most of the food on the table and off of the floor!

Mitch gave E her first taste of lemon...

...pucker up those lips!

 9 month well check
16 lbs 8 oz

Evin is thiiiiis big!

Working on her dance moves- doing the sprinkler!

We got dressed up in our Aggie gear for the last time in 2013.  The Ags were playing in the Chick Fil A Bowl on New Year's Eve.  We watched the first half at Mums' house, and the rest of the game at home.  The first half was really ugly, but they managed to make a huge comeback in the second half and won!

Kyla bought some fun hats and glasses to ring in the new year and we had fun dressing up the kiddos.

These next few pictures crack me up.  So hard to get them to look at us!

Cheeeeese.

Ha!  Happy 2014!

Sporting her "lumberjack chic" look. ;)

Love this little booty in jeggings!

I posted this little photo collage on Facebook to wrap up 2013.  This year was amazing in so many ways, but also SO incredibly difficult.  We had a baby, got rushed to Cook Children's, had surgery #1 & a 22 day NICU stay, worried ourselves crazy to get her to gain weight and stay healthy, had a cath & surgery #2, and wrapped up the year celebrating holidays with our precious girl and her repaired heart.  We faced many challenges in 2013, but we made it through them all with many blessings from God.  I look upon 2013 as the best and the worst year of my life, and even though I want her to stay this age forever, I am SO glad to ring in a new year.
 Happy 2014!
