4th of July

What a fun 4th of July we had this year!  Just as I have in years past, I overbought in the patriotic clothing department (and she was given some from grandparents), so we started wearing red, white & blue at the end of June.

Oh my stars!

GiGi, PawPaw, Granny, & Pa had people over on the night of the 3rd.  They live close to where Mansfield was shooting off fireworks that night, so we were able to eat and watch them from their yard.  It was a fun night!

Wheee!

Mitch's cousin's kids were there with Howard & Elonda for a visit.  They enjoyed playing together!

Evin loved big girl, Katie!

Mums, Kyla, Kyle, Lane & Ellis came, too!

Good pic, ladies!

Evin's first time doing sparklers!

Look at her curly hair!  The pool water plus the humidity created her curly do.

Red was the color of the night for our family. :)

Kyla asked me to take a picture of their family, and as I was looking through the lens I spotted a tiny photobomber, just smiling away.  So funny!

Perfect!

We parked ourselves on the sidewalk next to their house and had a great view of the fireworks.

She was still going strong when we got home!

Sassin' in up.

Kyla bought these cute shorts for Ellis this year, but they were too big, so Evin got to wear them first!

I found this cute bikini at Walmart  for $4 months ago, and couldn't pass it up.

My pint-sized patriotic firecracker!

We had a fun time swimming with Kyla & the kids.

He was wearing his puddle jumper at the moment, but this boy has become quite the swimmer this summer!

Love how she looks at him- so sweet!

The night of the 4th we went to meet the Armstrongs for dinner at Babe's.  Yum!

After dinner, we went back to their house for more sparklers.  Fun, fun!

Our church had a patriotic service on Sunday the 5th, so we continued wearing red, white & blue.
