Father's Day

We kicked off Father's Day by going to church.  I love this sweet picture of my favorite father/daughter duo.  It was so humid outside, the camera lens fogged up and gave it a smoky look!

Evin is the #1 present opener in our house.  She's quite the helper!

So proud of the canvas we made for Daddy.  Hopefully he can hang it in the garage with all his fishing gear.
It's hard to read her shirt, but it says "LOVE MY DAD".  :)

It's fun and easy to celebrate a Daddy who is so crazy about his girl.  I loved looking back at old pictures of them together.  Mitch is so sweet and patient with Evin.  She really hit the Daddy jackpot!

That afternoon we went to see PawPaw & Pa.
We put together a kayak fishing goodie bag for Pa, since he just bought a kayak to go fishing with Speedy & Mitch.

Speedy also got a few fishing goodies and a Yeti cup.

It seems like every time we have been to GiGi & PawPaw's lately, the weather hasn't permitted her to play on her swing set.  She was happy to play today!

WHEE! :)

Evin is so very lucky to have these two in her life.

It is rare to catch a real smile on camera from Pa (and sometimes PawPaw!) so I was excited to have this pic on my camera.

We have lots to celebrate on Father's Day, but it is always a hard day for me.  I wish so badly that Evin could have known how amazing my dad was.  He was patient, kind, funny, and an incredibly hard worker.  He always put us first and wouldn't hesitate to drop what he was doing to make us happy.  He really was the greatest!
