Evin's "Newborn" Pictures

Months before Evin was due, I researched newborn photographers and finally settled on Michelle Monk Photography.  Michelle was scheduled to come to our house just a few days after Evin was born to capture photos of our little peanut.  Of course, the session was postponed because we were at the hospital.  She ended up taking Evin's "newborn" pictures just one day shy of Evin turning 1 month old.  We loved Michelle and the fact that she came to our house and brought all of her props with her.  Here are some of our favorite pictures:

I especially love this one.  This quilt was given to Evin by the Chaplain at Cook Children's.  He visited with us a few times while we were there, and said that he had a few prayer quilts and would like to give one to Evin.  It is so special to us!  It is also really neat because we attend one of the churches that has ladies that actually sew the quilts and donate them to Cook Children's.

This one is special as well.  While in the hospital, my sister gave me this necklace to represent Evin's mended heart.  One of the best gifts I've ever received!
