In mid-October, Mitch, my mom and I headed south on I-35 to visit the Coots in Austin. We have been to visit them a couple of times since Evin had been born, but this was her first trip since her repair surgery. We were looking forward to a good visit with them!
Aunt Kyla and Little E- happy to see each other.
This crazy boy had fun playing outside while his mommy and I watched. He would rather wear his baseball helmet than his bike helmet!
He was all giggles while running around. Love this smile!
Evin doesn't particularly like being away from home and is usually more fussy when we are away. She did much better this trip! :)
She enjoyed playing with Mums and had fun with some of Lane's toys.
Scout took advantage of Evin's boppy...until she was told to get off of it.
We just hung around the house our first day there and let the littles play. We did go eat and run into a couple of stores, but mostly stuck around the house.
Evin and Lane enjoyed watching cartoons the next morning. Cousin bonding over a little Paw Patrol!
An Evin sandwich.
Couldn't get her to look, but wanted a picture of her in her adorable outfit Kyla got for her. Aren't the yellow skinny pants cute?!
Lunch with my two favorite babes.
We got in lots of good meals while we were there...that night we ate at Lupe Tortilla- one of my favorites in Austin! Lane came over to play with Evin and she kept grabbing at his face. He thought it was hilarious!
Silly boy!
The next morning we got to see Lane play in his t-ball game. I was so excited to cheer him on! It ended up being much colder than we expected, but I wrapped Evin up and was able to block her from the wind.
I have to say...3 year olds playing t-ball is quite entertaining! Lane had a ball and it was so fun to watch him play.
He was pretty excited to have an audience and decided to show off a little by being silly. After he got a good hit, he ran to center field instead of 1st base. What a goofy boy! Here he is having a little chat with Mommy about his silliness...
He made a great stop and threw it to 1st base. He was pretty proud and so were we!
His tiniest fan.
Lane's fan club for the day (minus his mommy & daddy)
While in Austin, I wanted Kyla to try and get some good pictures of Evin at a pumpkin patch. We had tried earlier in the month while she was in Mansfield, but Evin was so distracted by the pumpkins, she wouldn't smile. We tried again, and it didn't go a whole lot better than our first attempt. Kyla managed to get a few good shots, but Evin was way more interested in staring at and touching the pumpkins than she was smiling.
Pretty girl!
Handsome Lane!
We tried for a picture of them together and this is how most of them turned out. How in the world to people get both kids looking at the camera and smiling?! The sign in the background was pretty fitting at this point... ;)
Lane was a trooper and gave a good smile while posing solo.
My family of 3.
My aunt, Kathy, drove in from San Angelo and stayed one night. As always, we had fun visiting with her!
Our last day there Kyla got this picture of Evin and I LOVE it. She looked so big in her skinny jeans and boots!
Daddy and his girl.
Last lunch before heading home.
Sisters.
And Evin's first photo bomb- haha.

Posing for a quick pic before heading home. Our adorable nephew!
Lane took his ambulance to school earlier in the week for show-and-tell. He told his friends about how his Uncle Mitch is a paramedic and works on an ambulance. He was pretty proud!
Being silly!
As always, we had a fun time in Austin!
