Ready to head to Fort Worth for a doctor's appointment at Cook's. Looking like a big girl!
Waiting, waiting, waiting to see the pulmonologist. Evin qualifies to have the Synagis vaccine, to lessen her chances of getting RSV, since she had heart surgery. She will get the shot every month until March. I logged onto our insurance website to check all the claims that had gone through recently and discovered that ONE shot of Synagis cost $3,090. Yes, you read that correctly. It's crazy!!! Long ago we met our deductible for 2013, so we didn't owe anything this time, but come January we will be meeting our deductible rather quickly.
Evin LOVES this toy. She will sit in front of it for 30 minutes at a time and has the best time. It lights up and plays music and she claps her hands and grins. Best part is- it was a hand-me-down toy from the Snowdens. Thanks, Mason & Marley!
The Coots and the Snowdens came in town this weekend to participate in the Walk to Defeat ALS. Evin got in some good Uncle Kyle time!
Kathy said Evin looked so much bigger than she did last time she saw her!
Before Evin was born, Marley kept talking about how she wanted them to have matching outfits. I bought this cute dachshund outfit for Marley for her birthday, and got Evin one to match. Don't they look cute?!
Sweet girls.
Evin loves to watch Mason!
Lane & Evin getting their read on with Uncle Mitch/Daddy.
Soon this Mama will have a little girl of her very own!
My little heart baby.
Doctor's visit #2 for the week. This was for a weight check with the pediatrician. You weighed 15 lbs 1 oz (10%) and were 26 1/4 inches (10-25%) long.
In the driver's seat.
Fell asleep while reading a good book.
Evin participated in her very first Walk to Defeat ALS in memory of her Papa John. More to come on this in a separate post...
